I have a user with Outlook 2003. They were sending an email to a
commonly used distribution list from the GAL. They accidentally expanded
the distribution list, displaying all the names. Not only does the expanded
list appear how on all new emails sent to the same distribution list, but
even more annoying is the fact that the user is a member of the distribution
list herself and when she receives email sent to the list by someone else
the From field is expanded now, rather than showing the name of the DL it
was sent to. This messes up all kinds of Rules the user has setup.
I've read that "once the list has been expanded, it cannot be
collapsed". This is, of course, ridiculous. Please tell me there's a way
around this... Thanks!
