I hhave copies all my email archives onto an xternal Hard Drive and using
before Office Outlook 2003. I am now wanting to go back to my older version
of Outlook of 2000 and can not figure out how to import all these archived
emails so I can read them again

If you used the default format for Outlook 2003 .pst file, you cannot use it
in Outlook 2000.

You will need to create a 97-2002 format .pst file, copy your 2003 .pst file
contents into the older format, and then OPEN that file in your Outlook
2000. Outlook;s File->Open->Personal Folders File.

This ensures that you retain all customizations, birthdays in calendar,
journal connections, etc. You never import a native Outlook file.
