Need to import bmp. objects into Access 2002

I'm trying to import bmp. files into my Access 2002 database and instead of
inserting the image it inserts it as a thumbnail. When I try to open the
thumbnail it says that it is a package object and not a bitmap file????

I was able to do this fine before and now I am having problems. Any
suggestions???
