Need to import data from ACT! 2000 into Outlook.

I have numersous contacts in ACT! 2000 database that need to be imported into
Outlook (2002-XP). Have saved ACT file as 3.0 and 4.0 versions but Outlook
will not open them when prompted. Outlook is suppose to import this, but I
get an error message. Act will not export in anything the Outlook likes.

Does any one have any insight on how to do this?

Have you tried posting in the Outlook newsgroups? This 'group is targeted
for MS Access questions...
