Hi Lance:
The other guys have pretty much covered this ground. The advice I usually
give is "ensure you use only the fonts provided with Office by Microsoft."
These fonts are specifically designed and coded to work as close as possible
to being the same as the same-named fonts used in Windows.
Mac TrueType fonts will work in Windows, and vice-versa. However, OTF fonts
tend to be in a suitcase: you have to drag the individual fonts out of the
suitcase to work in Windows: it's a bit of a fiddle.
There are utilities around that will convert fonts from one to the other,
but they are expensive (well, the ones that work are...) and the practice is
illegal: you are giving a font to someone who hasn't paid for it.
Have a look in Google for Alan Wood's Font Pages for more information.
Cheers

I am using Office v.X for the Mac, while everyone I work with has Office
for Windows XP. Some fonts, such as Hoefler, do not display in XP.
This is a problem because I use it in my letterhead.
How can I export my fonts for import into the XP boxes? I need help at
both ends -- getting them "out of" the Mac and "into" the XP machines.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
