need to recover Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\works

I received an error 1327 invalid drive... I then proceeded
to process my inquiry with microsoft. The info suggested I
delete hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\works... at
my own risk. I know would like to restore this hive and
fix my error another way.
