need to schedule - but not attend - meetings!

Hello! I schedule many appointments for my boss, and I like to use the Meeting feature, so that I can notify him of the appointment, hold the time on his calendar, and get his response all with one message. However, it also adds the appointment to my calendar, which is completely unnecessary, and not what I want at all. Is there any way to send him a meeting request without adding it to my calendar?

Any suggestions at all would be appreciated!
