Need to set records to occur in several different week number

I have a table of records for items of machinery and I need to assign a
frequency of maintenance for each (weekly, monthly, 3 monthly etc...) how do
I make the record occur in upto 52 times a year (weekly) or just once
(annually) and get a query to select the records that occur each week?
