Thanks so much for responding!!! I can make the email i want to use for the
response and save it as the html file, but getting outlook to use it as a
reponse is the problem.

when i go to the Rules Wizard, it only lets me select plain text format
files for the "reply using" feature. I have to pick a template .... and the
templates can only be in plain text. Is there another way to do this?

You saved the template as *.oft?
What version of Outlook are you using and what account type?

It is only giving me html, plain text, or template format. Is template
format the .oft? I thought i had tried that option and came up empty handed
but perhaps i am wrong.

I have Microsoft Outlook 2000 v 9.0.0.2711 (not express..although i do have
that available too) Internet mail only.

Dont know what you mean by account type. Can you explain?
