Need to sum a value in grouped section based on criteria

I have a report based on a crosstab query. Within the
report I have a section that groups values based on a
Quarter (i.e., Q1, Q2) for a particular year, and breaks
them across the crosstab fields.

These values need to be summed based on the quarter in
another section of the report so I can subtract Q1 values
from Q2. Since they are in the same field, I am not sure
what to do since this value also has to be summed across
the crosstab fields. Does that make sense? I need to find
the difference of Q1 and Q2 within the report.
