Need to view section breaks in MS word documents

Somehow I have lost the ability to view section breaks. I
have checked everywhere has this happened to you.

If you View in Normal View, you should see them. In Page Layout view,
they disappear unless you turn them on by checking "on" the options at
Tools/Options View tab.

Hi Phyllis,

Click on View then on Outline (I'm using W97).

If you can't see any section breaks, click on the 'Select
browse object' button in the bottom right-hand corner
(below the vertical scroll-bar) and between the << and >>
buttons. This will display a popout toolbar. Select the
section break icon (top line, 2nd from right in W97).

By clicking on the << or >> buttons you can browse by
section break. If you still can't see them, once a section
break has been selected in this manner, press the up arrow
once and then press the return key, this should insert a
blank line and displaty the break.
