Need Windows display name field mapped to resouce name field

I am loading resouces into the Enterprise global resouces from the directory
and I need to map the Active Directory Display Name field to the Resouce Name
that is loaded into Project Server. We use numbers for the login name and
the number is also in the Name field. I am having to pull up the LDAP and
copy and paste the name into the Resouce field.

A better strategy for you might be to export your data into Excel and either
import it from this format or stage it in Project so that you can do your
custom attribution as well.

What I really want is to get access to is the Active Directory "Display Name"
field and map it to a Project Server field. I see this field when I add
resouces though the Directory and choose add columns and select Display Name
from the Active Directory dialog box.
BTW, Thanks for your responce, I will take your iother dea into
consideration.
