Negative Work Showing up in Workplan

After resources submit their time in Web Access and the time is accepted the
assigned work changes. The amount of work and remaining work stay the same
in total, but the way is appears changes. For instance, a resource will
have 100 hours of work left. It was listed as 4 weeks of 25 hours a week,
total of 100. After work is accepted, it will say they have 6 weeks of 25
hours, then 1 week of -50 hours, for a total of 100.

The overall number doesn't change, but this negative number concerns the
workplan managers and administrators. It has happened more than one week,
and it doesn't not happen for the same resources or the same tasks.

Please let me know if you have ever seen an error like this before. We know
we can temporarily fix the issue, but it will happen again the next week.
We are looking for more of a permanent fix where negative work wouldn't show
up each week.

Andy:

If there's a logical explanation for the behavior, it will require complete
detail about the task to diagnose.
