Nested window containing data

Hi,
I could not find a sample that will allow me to place a Nested window
containing data in a drawing (like the stencil and the windows that may
be opened in the View menu).
Anyone can help?

DoCmd method might be one of the ways. To open shapesheet window of a
selected shape, Application.DoCmd visCmdWindowShowShapeSheet.

thank you but it is not the answer to my question...
I wish to have another window in the drowing that will contain a
datagrid control.

I am a Visio user, not a developer.

I try to follow the explanation in the article refered by your reply.

where to download the file "AnchoredWindows.exe" that the article
refers to?

I would apreciate very much if you could help me put toghether the
information in the article.

investigation?

Some future investigations show that the problem occurs only when
trying to open that fancy new menu menu "Data" when a custom (addin's)
top-level window is active.

It looks like Visio starts to update menu item states for this menu,
and gets astonished with the fact that there is a window open, and this
window does not have Visio document bound to it...
I suppose in this case all menu items for that menu should be just
disabled?
