.Net Framework 1.0 vs. 1.1 on client?

Does anyone know what impact to Project Professional 2003 if the client
machine is running .Net Framework 1.0? We have 2 sets of machines: one set
running Project Pro 2003 with .Net Framework 1.1 & a second set running
Project Pro 2003 with .Net Framework 1.0. There are some performance issues
(publishing projects, connecting to respource pool), but we can not see any
difference in functionality.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Project 2003 does not utilize the .net framework as far as I can tell, so
there should be no difference.

What about Project Pro's interactions (SOAP, PDS, etc.) with WSS or does
Proejct Server handles those requests on behalf of the client?
