Hi all
Been googling a problem which appears to have resulted from some dodgy MS
updates.
Three updates have failed to install on a Dell Latitude 830 laptop. All
these are fixes for .Net software issues.
Coincidentally??? the PC has lost its Internet connection (via our company
Proxy Server) and suffers repeated error messages from Business Contact
Manager in Outlook.
I have seen other posters attributing the BCM errors to the .Net update
problem, but could the corruption of the .Net framework also affect Internet
Explorers ability to communicate with the tintywebnet?
I have checked that proxy settings are available and that communication is
open to the server. Also, no other users have been affected by this.....so
far!
TIA
Phil
