After downloading the .NET Framework my install program just sits there
looking at me and not installing anything (even other updates). The install
program worked before I tried to install the .NET program. I have tried many
times to download the .NET program (and it downloads) but it will not
install. Then just this past week I have tried to download windows XP
updates KB885835, KB886185, KB873339, and KB885836) only to find out that
after download the message “Updates were unable to be successfully installedâ€
appears. I am also frustrated because I cannot even update or add third
party programs to my system because my system thinks .NET is still installing
in the background despite my rebooting several times. Please help before I
kill my computer.
