.net ver 2.0

FrontPage 2003
Windows XP Pro

After downloading and installing Microsoft .net version 2.0 I can no longer
open local webs...

I've tried everything I know, but am unable to fix this problem (other than
by uninstalling which does then allow me to open local webs again)

Has anyone encountered this issue before, and do you know the fix?

Are these local webs IIS based or disk based??

Did the install create a user named ASPNET in Control Panel > Users and Passwords??

If so, try adding the ASPNET user to the IWAM_User

ASPNET is a very limited user account and needs to be elevated

Thanks Steve...I'll check that out. What really has me scratching my head is
that version 1.1 seems to work all right...its just version 2.0 that is
driving me a little crazy.
