netfolders dont copy with pst file?

Hi

I have a few computer running Outlook 98 with some folders shared
using Netfolders. It has worked great for ages but now I am migrating
to new machines and I need to copy the users pst files to the new
disks. The problem is the netfolder sharing dissappears in the copied
file on the new machines. There is a tab called sharing on a shared
folder properties and it is not there on the copy. This even happens
if I copy a working file to a new location on the original machine.
Does anyone know how to copy a pst file and maintain the netfolders
information? Is is stored in the pst file or is it magic?

All help much appreciated as this is doing my head in!

Cheers

It is not in the .pst file. You need to install Net Folders from the Outlook
98 CD on the computers.

I have installed netfolders and then I add a new personal folder (pst
file) using tools->services. The problem is if a user has a
subscription to a netfolder on the old machine it does not migrate to
the new machine by installing netfolders and copying the pst file.
Unless I am doing it in the wrong order. It looks like I have to
cancel the users subscription and re-add them but this means the
sharing information is held somewhere other than the .pst file and it
is linked to a specific file and cant be recovered from a copy. This
means backups dont work which is crazy. Someone must have done this
before.
