Network admin install Vs CD install

I have a number of networked PCs which have had OfficeXP
installed from CD. I have created a network install point
for OfficeXP so that I can load SP1 & SP2 onto the
clients via the network.

Do I have to re-install all the clients' OfficeXP
installations in order to load the network share's SP1 &
SP2?

Hi, Jason,

Yes; a network install point is decompressed, while a CD isntallation is
from compressed files. The system won't ever figure out how to navigate the
two, so uninstall and re-install entirely from the network.
