Network and sycronize access

Good Afternoon,

I am going on an extended leave from work and I have a
great database at work. I copied this database to my home
computer but I have no idea how to link to my work
computer and sycronize the two databases so that when I
make changes at home they reflect in the office and vice
versa. I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on
equipment, does anyone know a simple, inexpensive way to
do this?

Both locations have interenet access. My home access is
DSL and my work line is Dial Up.

Your home is DSL, and work is Dial-up? Seems backwards...

To keep these in sync you are going to need to use Access replication.

An alternative (depending on your IT structure) is to set up a terminal
server at the office and use the DB through that, but if the office connects
via dial-up, that will be painful.

I'm sorry to be so stupid but how do I use the Access
Replication? What I did was burn a copy of the database
and take it home. And yeah the whole thing is backward.
The owner of the company is cheap and he pays for the
internet at the office. But at home I pay for my own. Go
figure.

If you enter data into yours and the office is entering into theirs,
synching the two is going to require the use of append queries to take
records not in one database and copy them in there. I for one, would not
want the task.

Please read up on Access Replication in Help, and find the Replication FAQ
at http://support.microsoft.com before you even think about it, but that is
the proper way to do what you are wanting to do.
