Network building template

Where can I get a template that will ping all of the devices on a network and draw it for me?

you would have to have visio 2002 (or earlier) with the network tools
package.

Why was this feature dropped? We have just built a new network and wanted to use this ourselves.

Especially once all the desktops were installed.

Just saves so much time.

I have never been able to get an answer to that question from MS. :(

As I remember (at my age that can be dangerous) the comment was that there
wasn't sufficient demand to justify the investment on M$s side. It probably
is wasted breath to discuss their pricing mechanism, especially when it was
(IMHO) obvious they didn't intend on keeping it from the beginning.
