Last week I upgraded a Win2000 machine from Office97 Pro to OfficeXP Pro.
This is the only machine in our office on which we installed OfficeXP
Since that time our network connection keeps dropping every couple of hours
on that machine only, and the only way to re-establish connectivity is to do
a hard reboot. All the other machines running Win2000/Office97 keep their
connections just fine.
We thought it might be the NIC so we swapped in a new NIC, identical to the
original, but still experience the same problems.
All the machines are running the same patches from the MS web site for
Win2000, and all machines are running the same version of ZoneAlarm firewall
(as they have for some time now).
Any ideas on how to track this problem down and solve it?
TIA
