Network Connection Lost

I am having a problem with an error message which I cannot
determine what cause it or how to fix it.

"Error accessing file. Network connection may have been
lost."

I got this message every time I click on the command
buttons I have on my switchboard.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could me.
