Hello,

I desperatley need help in converting an excel table into
an access database. The reason we are doing this is
because we are trying to keep track of how long a report
runs. We only count 10 hr work days since no one is here
with the report after 6 pm. The work day starts at 8 am
and ends at 6 pm. It was working fine in Excel until I
noticed that some of the reports would run on a Friday and
wouldn't end till a Tuesday. Can anyone help me calculate
that formula and have Access recognize NOT to count
weekends and not to count hours after 6 pm or before 8
am. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

One way to do this is use the weekday function. Give it
the date and it will return a integer for the day of the week
1-7.
Then you can ignore 1 and 7.
