NETWORK DISCOVERY WITH VISIO

On a vision product release prior to 2000 version I could
do a network discovery with vision, find IP address and
host names and map them graphically or get a list of them

is there any way to do that with the latest 2003 visio?
do I need a plugin?

Microsoft says this powerful, popular tool has been discontinued with no
plans to bring it back. Please join with me in pestering them to
reconsider. If enough of us ask, maybe it will happen.

I spoke with a MS rep at Comdex and said it wasn't included based on their development timeline. He then suggested I acquire Fluke LAN Mapshot instead. Well, the Fluke product only works with 2002 and earlier with no plans to develop for Visio 2003. So, who do we keep screaming at within MS to either get Autodiscovery back on the table or point us to an alternative
