NETWORK ERROR IN A STANDALONE DATABASE

[msnews.microsoft.com]

After some changes to masks in a Access2000 db, the database, trying to open
a mask or a report, shows the error:

ERROR DURING ACCESS TO FILE: NETWORK CONNECTION MAY BE NOT AVAILABLE

The file is not shared in a network environment.
Which solution to the problem?
