We are using MS Exchange in our university and I'm trying to find a way to
have a list of always used folders on the network in the left panel and the
standard outlook view on the right, i.e. inbox content on the top panel and
the message text in the bottom panel.
In our department, we manage R&D project and we receive quite a bit of
e-mail on many projects. We tend to create folders in our PST but the memory
allocation is always busted. It's practical because we just drag & drop the
jest received e-mail in the left folder with it's appropriate structure and
when we want to go back to a project e-mail, we just click the appropriate
folder and instantly have all the e-mail messages.
By putting the network structure instead of the PST file, this will serve 2
objectives : archiving on the network which we have to do anyway and 2nd
quick access to e-mail history on a project.
Has this been done somewhere ?
TIA
