Network Installation of Office 2007

We are about to upgrade all PC's to Office 2007. We are currently running a
mix of Office 97/2000.
Most of our users all have 5-10 Office shortucts on their desktop. Once we
move to Office 07, all file names will be changed to the new format.

Is there any way we can save these shortcuts or convert them? script or 3rd
party software?
