Network LT(XP) & PC(XP) without internet connection?

Hello, I'm trying to network my desktop pc and my laptop. When I go into the
wizard, it wants a internet connection. I have a dial-up connection, is there
a "work-around" so I don't have to connect to the internet? What settings
would I need to achieve the above?
