Network Password pop-up ends send/receive outlook 2002

Network Password pops up frequently and stops send/receive with Verizon Yahoo
Server. Need longer time; using HTML, but how to stop these intrusions?

Thank you---new to this: OS=Windows XP
MS Office Pro 2002=as time-out settings are not available for HTML (using
CLEAR TEXT?); which choice for fewer interruptions of send/receive are better
for less time-outs (RICH or PLAIN?), that will also send my photos clearly
within the body of the message? No placeholders or attachments preferred.
