Network Password

I am using Outlook 2007 with Vista.

I am getting Network Password errors requesting input of password
intermitantly.

I have tried the suggested actions in Article 290684 as suggested in Help,
but there is no change.

Suggestions please.

That KB article does not apply to Outlook as their is no protected storage
key available in Vista.

What is the exact error message you are getting when you try to input your
password?

I never re-enter my password, it does not make any difference.

I click cancel and all is well.

I do not get the Network Password message at every send/receive.

I have six email addresses, although most mail comes through one address.
Two of these are redirected into two of the others. Result is that I have 4
incoming addresses and 6 outgoing. I can get Network Password messages for
any of the 4 incoming addresses at random.

I have this same fault on both my PC and Laptop.

With all of those accounts, I would definitely set my delivery schedule to
send/receive at no less than 15 minutes to give all the accounts time to
resolve, get mail, send mail, and then move on to the others.

Don't know if this will help but it is really low-tech. FWIW I had a
similar-sounding problem with OL 2003/WinXP, created a new profile, etc.,
only to find that there was some glitch at my ISP with my login/password.
For some reason I tried to login through the net rather than OL, clicked
"forgot 'assword", reset it to what I use, and the problem disappeared. Of
course, that was AFTER I did did all that pointless work with OL--which I
have not yet gotten back to normal operation!
