network sharing access files

I recently replaced one of our network computers with a
new one. It was formatted NTFS instead of Fat 32. All
others are Fat 32. The Access folder containing all our
day to day Access files were copied to the shared folder
on the NTFS box, being newer and faster. The folder will
open showing all the files across the network. Some of
the files however will not open giving the message "
Microsoft Access can't find database file
\\computer\sharedocs\acess\file.mdb Make sure you entered
the correct name or pathway" Some of the files open. When
I put the same folder on a Fat 32 box, the problem
disappears and all files open correctly. I am using
simple file sharing on all computers. Does anyone have a
suggestion? Thanks.

this is a NTFS permissions issue.
if you are not worried about security, make sure the share and folders have
"everyone" with "change" permissions.
