I have a small network, with Win2k on one computer and win98 on another.
From the Win2k machine, which has Office 2000 SP1 loaded, if I double click
in explorer to open a file on the win98 machine - I get an error that
"microsoft excel cannot open or save any more docs because there is not
enough memory or disk space......". If I right click and choose "Open
With - Excel" it works fine, if I open excel first and then open the xls
from within excel it works fine, but from explorer if I double click, or
just right click and select open I get the error? Doesn't seem to depend
on size of spreadsheet etc.
Anyone have similar experience?
Thanks
