Networked Database

I have created a database and copied it to our server. When the users open
the DB, they are NOT prompt to enter their password. I have the users set up
with passwords. Did I loose something in moving the DB?
HELP!

Setting up a user and password DOES NOT SECURE your database.

There are many many steps involved in that process. You need to read the
security FAQ, make a few backups of your file, then follow ALL the steps IN
ORDER. Links listed below.

Your security was never correct, but you were fooled because it appeared to
work as desired on YOUR computer. Those other users are not using the same
workgroup file as you. If you had applied security correctly they would
still not be getting prompted, but they wouldn't be getting into the file
either.

Try setting up security again. There are a few step-by-step guides
available if you search these groups and I recommend you follow one of
those. Once you get to a point where those other users cannot open the file
(but you can after signing in), then you would give them a copy of your
workgroup file which they will use to access the file.
