Hi, I work for a company that has about 70 networked computers and around 20
WYSE terminals. All PCs are running Windows XP Professional. For a while now
we have had users that experience extremly slow moments of saving or opening
and closing Office programs. Everything users work on is saved on network
servers running Windows Server 2003.
We have monitored this problem and know that it is not caused by heavy
network traffic or slow PCs. We belive that it has something to do with the
fact that all users 'My Documents' folders are redirected to the network
servers.
We are using Office 2003 and 2007. Both versions experince random extremly
slow saving, opening, and closing.
As you can imagine, users are getting frustrated.
Anyone know what might be causing this?
