Ihave built many networked datases and have always used the technique of
splitting the data tables placing them on a mapped drive and providing each
user with a frontend that links to the data tables.
However we have a client that has a client/server network installed on one
site (all working great. They have two new satellite offices in Manchester
and Bristol. What is the best way of networking their frontends to the data
tables in London?
They have a standard 2MB Broadband connection in the sattelite offices.
