Networks & Access

We work in a network environment, and the problem we have
is that two or three people may have the same file open at
the same time and access does not give you a warning that
the file is being used by another person. We make changes
and save the file and it still does not warn you that the
file is being used by another person. Is there a solution
to this problem?

Hi Lucy,

That's what it's supposed to do. It's a multi user software.

What is specifically your problem? Why do you want to know if another user
is using the database?

It more than one person is making changes to forms queries
reports ect then they should open the db with the exclusive
option. This will prevent anyone else from opening it.
