New 2007 User

After building a project (citrus.adp) in Access 2000, I just started using
Access 2007. I noticed that I can't save my citrus.adp as a 2007 database.
I can only save it as a 2000 or 2003 database. Why can't I save it as 2007?
Thanks.

There is no new file format for ADP/ADE in Access2007, since ADP is on its
way out and no new feature would be added after Access2003.

Has this *ever* been confirmed in any official Microsoft publication other than one blog entry which, by its nature, is entirely
UNofficial?

I am on the same boat as you are: the blog is the only unofficial source.
But just see what MS has done on ADP: not fixing Access2003ADP so that it
can work with SQL Server2005 server objects; not give ADP new Access2007
format. This is strong indication that MS would not invest any more into ADP
(I would also not, if I were MS). The only thing they hasn't done is clearly
say it officially.

I think the strongest evidence is the utter lack of support for ADP in
the Runtime version of A2007. I really hope for several of my clients
that they will fix it, but I am not holding my breath.
