New Access Runtime

Hi. I have Office 2000 Developer's edition where I can make run time
standalone applications and distribute it to my customers that don't
need to have Access installed on their system.
Now I will consider to upgrade my Access to 2007 when availabe. Does
anybody know what edition is needed to still be able to offer
standalone runtime applications. I think Developer's edition is out
or..?

Thank you for your answer.

I believe there will be a runtime version released, though it may be after
the release of Office 2007 itself.

Details are still sketchy, but if you go to this blog from the Access dev
team:
http://blogs.msdn.com/access/archive/2006/04/25/583584.aspx
you will see that Erik Rucker says:
I recommend turning off the property
if your app is deployed as a runtime
so the Dev team does expect to release a runtime version at some point.

Thank you for your answer.

What if I upgrade to Access 2003. Office does not come with Developer
edition anymore, right?
What is the minimum I need to buy to be able to distribute Access 2003
runtime standalone applications to my customers? (They normally do not have
Access installed on their systems).
