New Address Book Categories Not Showing Up In Itunes or Iphone

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: pop

I have set up new categories in my entourage contacts list on my mac, but these categories are not showing up in the itunes list nor my iphone. The individual contacts do get synced successfully.

Have I missed a step? Any suggestions?
