When a new customer calls I need to be able to create a new contact,
then create an appointment linked to the contact that has all of the
contact info in it.
I can create a Create New Appt with Contact which links the contact,
but gives me no contact info on the appointment.
Or I can save the new contact, locate it in the contact list (a pain),
drag it to the calendar icon and a new appointment opens with all the
needed contact info. BUT, the appointment is not linked. I then have to
click Link Record, and go through 2-3 more steps to get the appointment
linked to the contact. This is quite a hassle to do while the customer
is on the phone.
Isn't there any way to merge these two ways of creating an appointment
with all the info I need that is automatically linked to the contact?
Is there a macro anywhere that will do this?
