New attempt: I had Format/Front/Shading; I've got Format/Font/Text Effects

Hi All,

I'm running MS Word 2003/SP2. Sometime in the last few days I no
longer had the Format | Font | Shading option. Instead, I've got
Format | Font | Text Effects instead.

I looked at Tools | Options, but I didn't notice any pertinent option.

Any suggestion on how I can recover my Shading option short of
reinstalling Office 2003/SP2 on my WinXP-Pro/SP2 system?

Thanks in Advance,
Richard

Hi JoAnn,

Thanks for your response. I looked at tables and saw "borders and
shading", which clicked in my head. I went back to Format and there
was "borders and shading!" It just wasn't under Fonts. I think my
brain's on overload :)

Regards,
Richard

Take a little time away from the computer. Those flying electrons really
play havoc with your neural synapses. Go for a walk, play with the kids,
kiss your spouse, hug your mom, etc.

I think I may take my own advice tonight. No, I'm not going to kiss your
spouse. I'm going to kiss MY spouse. ;-)
