New Blank Document changed

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

Someone accidently changed the New Blank Document Settings on my MAC. Everytime I click New Blank Document, a previously written letter comes up...not a blank document. The letter appears to have been saved now as the New Blank Document setting. How do I change it? Please help!

New Blank Documents are based on your Normal template. You need to open
up the Normal template, delete the text, and resave the Normal template
and you should be fine.

Unless you moved it, your Normal template is here:
[username]/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Normal
