New Code for Office XP Pro

I'm getting a new Dell Computer next week. I need a new
code for Office XP Pro. I have been trying to get in
touch with Microsoft since the 12th of this month but
have failed. Can someone please help me so I can load
this program on to my new computer?

Hi Tom,

If you're talking about activating Office XP Professional
then you can use the telephone method to activate on
the new PC *if* it's a boxed retail copy. If it's an
OEM copy (intended for use only with a new PC) then it's
married to the current PC and can't be transferred.

The license agreement (EULA) is in the Office app
help files.

Thanks. i purchase this at Compusa Last May. It was
purchase separate from when I bought the computer.
How do you do it throught the Phone method?

No, you can't put it on two desktops. One desktop and one laptop
is the rule.

So I have to uninstall one and put on the new computer.
i read that part and thought i was dead at that point.
