NEW Command Word XP

Using Word XP, going to FILE then clicking on NEW gets me a pane. I like to
go directly to Template Tab Screen where the .dot templates are located.
Awhile back it was explained that I can put this command on the toolbar
using "Other". It worked, but had to reinstall and like to add that in
again. Please explain how?

Also can this also be done with Excel and PowerPoint XP?

Put the FileNewDialog command on a toolbar, and it will take you directly to
the dialog.

Thanks, found it for Word. Looks like this is not available in Excel and
PowerPoint? Or is it?
