i purchased a copy of Office 2007, and have it installed on my old laptop.
i just bought a new laptop. can i activate the copy of office that came
packaged with my new laptop using the license key from the purchased copy
Office?

do i have to uninstall the copy on my old laptop first if i want to use the
license key on the new laptop? or to use the purchased copy on the new
laptop? that is, can i use the purchased copy on both computers?

do i have to uninstall the copy that was packaged with the laptop, and then
install from my purchased copy (onCD) in order to use the license key that
came with the purchased copy?

Depends. Read the EULA - that will tell you whether you can install on the
registered device (may be an laptop or a deskktop) and a mobile device owned
by you or not.

Yes and no - depends on the result of the above.

Depends on your licence.
When I bought Office 2007 Home and Student, it said I could install the
product on up to 3 computers in my home, and they could be running
concurrently.
