New Computer want to use my old license for office

You gotta uninstall the trial version and then install the full version.

As posted here many many times - uninstall the trial version BEFORE
installing your purchased one. Now you must uninstall BOTH, clear your temp
files, re-boot, and re-install your purchased version.

What edition is the trial and what edition was on your old computer? If they
are both the same then you should be able to upgrade the trial version with
your old key. Also note if the version of Office on your old computer came
preinstalled on the computer then you can't transfer the license since
preinstalled (OEM) editions Office are tied to the computer. If the computer
dies then so does Office.

If you have a retail version that is different from the trial version then
you need to uninstall the trial and then reinstall your retail version.
