New computer (with VISTA installed by factory)

I have a new computer. Notebook (VAIO-Centrino-single core with Vista
Business and MS Office both factory installed).

Why is my outlook so slow. Slow to do everything. I know that it can work
faster since I have an identical copy of my slightly older VAIO notebook
(with XP Pro) and it works fine!!

What's with this office/vista combination? I have not used the other
components of Office on the new computer yet so I am nos sure of any other
issues.

What else came preinstalled and integrates with Outlook? If the virus
scanner integrates with Outlook disable this integration and try again.
