new contact based on existing contact

Bob Day

Have Office 07 enterprise on XP…

In Outlook 03 BCM, there was a menu command to make a new contact based on
the open contact which essentially populated many of the fields and you
entered the rest (like for adding a new person at the same company).

I cannot figure out how to do that in Outlook 07 BCM. I use only BCM
contacts. Any ideas?

Thanks
bob

G'day Bob

In 2007, open a Contact and in the top left corner (almost) is Save and New
with a tiny drop down arrow at the edge. That's where New Contact from Same
Company is tucked away.

I don't have BCM running but hope for you it's the same as Outlook without
BCM :)

You might want to repost this to microsoft.public.outlook.bcm as that is
where the heavy users of the business contact manager hang out and can
probably provide a faster and more expert answer.

In contacts, that option is there. In BCM that option is there for accounts
(i.e. a company name) but not for contacts attached to an account. Odd.

I will repost to BCM group
Thanks
